Location: Accra, Ghana (Remoteli Office)

Position Overview: Remoteli is seeking a skilled and motivated Internal IT Manager to join our team in Accra, Ghana. This role will be instrumental in overseeing our internal IT operations, with a primary focus on cybersecurity, IT support, compliance, and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of African talent dynamics to drive excellence in IT service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cybersecurity Management:

    • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies and protocols to protect Remoteli's internal IT infrastructure and data assets.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate potential risks.
    • Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats and trends, and proactively implement measures to enhance resilience.
  2. IT Support and Infrastructure:

    • Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to internal teams, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services.
    • Manage Remoteli's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services, to optimize performance and reliability.
    • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and optimize service delivery.
  3. Compliance and Regulatory Management:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and data protection regulations.
    • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain compliance and mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate compliance assessments and audits.
  4. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to team members, empowering them to excel in their roles and advance their careers.
    • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, promoting a supportive and inclusive work environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNA) preferred.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in IT management roles, with a focus on cybersecurity, IT support, compliance, and infrastructure management.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and technologies, with a track record of implementing effective security measures.
  • Strong technical proficiency in network infrastructure, cloud services, and IT systems administration.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
  • Knowledge of African talent dynamics and cultural nuances, with a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
