Job Description:

Remoteli is seeking an experienced Industry Specialist to service one of our clients in the digital infrastructure and cybersecurity sector. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and strategic insights into digital infrastructure and cybersecurity within emerging markets, particularly in East Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. This role requires extensive industry experience, strong professional connections, and a thorough understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in these regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert analysis and strategic recommendations on digital infrastructure and cybersecurity for emerging markets.
• Utilize extensive industry experience and contacts to support the client’s business development and project execution.
• Draft comprehensive, technical reports on digital infrastructure and cybersecurity topics.
• Advise on financing mechanisms for digital infrastructure and cybersecurity projects.
• Collaborate with U.S. federal, state, or city government entities on relevant projects.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years in digital infrastructure and cybersecurity for digital infrastructure in emerging markets.
• Preference for candidates with experience in East Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Industry Contacts:

• Relevant U.S. industry contacts in the digital infrastructure and cybersecurity sectors.

Technical Reporting:

• Proven experience in drafting substantial, technical reports.

Financing Mechanisms:

• Understanding of financing mechanisms for digital infrastructure and cybersecurity project deployment.

Government Collaboration:

• Experience working with relevant U.S. federal, state, or city government entities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, which will be assessed during the evaluation of proposals.
