Assistant Operations Manager

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, development, and execution of operational processes to optimise daily workflow efficiency.

  • Assist in leading cross-functional initiatives that drive key organisational goals and align with strategic priorities.

  • Help manage and mentor team members, fostering a positive, high-performance team culture.

  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to improve efficiency and streamline business operations.

  • Monitor and evaluate performance indicators to ensure alignment with company-wide operational objectives.

  • Implement and support quality assurance processes to consistently uphold operational standards.

  • Contribute to resource planning by assessing allocation needs and recommending productivity improvements.

  • Collect and analyse key operational data to support informed decision-making and process enhancements.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4+ years experience in an operational support or team coordination role.

  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

  • Good understanding of operational metrics, workflow processes, and performance reporting.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project tools (e.g., Monday.com, Asana) is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a collaborative work ethic.

  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments and support cross-functional teams effectively.
