Company Overview: Remoteli is a global talent solutions provider, helping companies access skilled professionals remotely. We are currently seeking a Finance Associate for one of our clients, a growing organization committed to financial health and compliance.


Job Summary: As a Finance Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, budget management, and regulatory compliance. You will manage accounts, prepare financial statements, and assist in audits, contributing to the organization’s financial stability and success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and consolidate comprehensive reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Conduct variance analysis and report on budget versus actual results.
  • Prepare financial reports for management, including forecasting and budget performance.
  • Assist in budget development and monitoring across various departments and programs.
  • Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments through Xero.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, including managing payments from government agencies, donors, and other sources.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate ledger entries within Xero.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
  • Maintain documentation and records to meet financial standards and regulations.
  • Oversee the timely filing and reconciliation of company taxes.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of financial products and operational techniques.
  • Uphold the company’s policies, procedures, and reputation for financial credibility.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MSc/MA is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting procedures, and budgeting processes.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial management software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
